Dr. Florian Meier

is a physics graduate
 

He studied physics at Ludwig- Maximilians University in Munich and Oxford University and earned his doctorate for work on magnetism in nanoscale systems, such as molecular magnets and quantum dots, from the University of Basel. After a postdoctoral fellowship at the California NanoSystems Institute in Santa Barbara, during which he investigated magneto-optical properties of semiconductors, he started his patent attorney training at Kraus & Weisert in 2005 and and qualified as a German and European patent attorney in 2008 and 2009, respectively.

Florian Meier enjoys classical music. His favorite sports are jogging and biking.
